Political Party Ad Tracker — November 9, 2018
New ads from the Conservatives this week as they continue their attack on the carbon tax, referring to it as a scam and a cash grab.
The Liberals also have new ads, focusing on the upcoming byelection in Leeds-Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.
The NDP have no new ads this week - they are still attacking the Liberals for not calling by-elections in Outremont, York-Simcoe and Burnaby South.

Conservative Party of Canada
The Conservative Party has unleashed even more aggressive new ads attacking the Liberal carbon tax.
The quality of the ad graphic is questionable, but the message is sure to resonate with Conservatives who oppose the carbon tax.
This ad looks much more clean and simple, and refers to the carbon tax as a scam.
I am sure we will continue to see plenty of advertisements around this issue as we get closer to election day.
"Tell Justin Trudeau to keep out of your pocket."
The Conservatives gearing up for the upcoming byelection on December 3rd.

Liberal Party of Canada
The Liberals are also preparing for the December 3rd byelection.
They appear to be doing a better job of tailoring their ads to the riding of Leeds-Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.
"Say you're voting Liberal to support local farmers" - this is a good call to action from the Liberal advertising team.
They have kept the ad relevant to the riding as they try to take the seat from the Conservatives on December 3rd.
Another ad for the upcoming byelection.
Simple and to the point.
Apart from their byelection ads, the Liberals continue to run their "Victory Fund" ads.
They are using an unconventional strategy for these fundraising ads as their is no urgency and no way to actually donate money at this time.
Interested individuals can sign up to get more info about the Victory Fund at a later date.
Time will tell if this strategy pays off for the Liberals.

New Democratic Party
No new ads from the NDP this week, as they continue to attack the Liberals for playing "political games" by not calling byelections in Outremont, Burnaby South and York-Simcoe.
The NDP are calling out the Trudeau Liberals, telling them to stop playing political game.
These ads may help stir up discontent with the Liberal government in these ridings when elections are eventually held.
"Justin Trudeau has decided that over 300,000 Canadians don't deserve a voice in Parliament."
This is strong messaging from the NDP, and should resonate with those living in the ridings that are currently lacking representation.
Again, the NDP are the only party running true fundraising ads on Facebook, as the Liberal ads simply ask users to "learn more" about their victory fund.
All of the parties do the majority of their online fundraising through email.
